Proposals Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers about sunset timing, beaches, pricing, payments, packages, hotel permissions and media delivery so you can plan your proposal in Los Cabos with confidence.
Sunset timing
We coordinate the moment around the best available natural light.
What time will my sunset proposal take place?
Your proposal is normally scheduled while the sun is coming down, with enough time to enjoy the reveal and capture the changing light. The exact arrival and proposal time depends on the season, selected beach, access and the position of the surrounding mountains.
Sunset may feel slightly earlier near San José del Cabo and slightly later in parts of Cabo San Lucas. We confirm your exact timeline before the event so you know when to leave, arrive and begin the moment.
Beach and location
The best location is beautiful, practical and appropriate for your stay.
Which beach will you use?
We recommend a beach according to your hotel or accommodation. If you are staying in San José del Cabo, Cabo San Lucas, the Tourist Corridor or the Pacific side, we look for a suitable option nearby. This makes transportation easier, reduces unnecessary travel costs and helps you arrive on time.
Will the beach be completely private?
Beaches in Mexico are public. We cannot promise that no one will ever pass nearby, but we carefully choose areas and times that are generally less crowded. Our goal is to create a calm, discreet setting where your proposal can feel as private and uninterrupted as possible.
Pricing and final cost
Your confirmed proposal should have a clear and understandable total.
Will I have to pay anything beyond the quoted price?
The total shown in your final confirmed quote is the amount you pay for the agreed services. We include the known setup, coordination, vendors, logistics and approved details in that total.
If you later request new services, change the location or choose a hotel option with an additional venue fee, we explain the difference before anything is added. We do not add surprise charges without discussing them with you.
Payments and reservations
A clear payment record protects the planning process for everyone involved.
How can I pay from another country?
Some payment apps commonly used in other countries are not available in Mexico. We recommend established international payment platforms that provide confirmation, transaction records and security features. We explain the available options before you book so you can choose the one that feels most convenient.
Why is an advance payment required?
An advance payment secures your date and allows us to reserve staff, vendors, materials, transportation, permissions and planning time. Many parts of the experience must be confirmed before the event, and providers may require payment to hold their availability.
The advance also protects the work already committed if a client does not arrive or cancels after resources have been reserved. Your payment schedule and confirmation details are explained before booking.
Packages and additional services
You can start with a setup and build the experience around your priorities.
Do you offer proposal packages?
Yes. We offer starting options, but we prefer to create a personalized package after learning what you imagine, which setup you like, your date, location and budget. This gives you a clearer combination instead of paying for services you do not need.
What can be added to my proposal?
Depending on availability and location, your experience may include proposal photography, highlight video, drone coverage, live music, fireworks, cold sparklers, a champagne toast, romantic dinner, yacht experience, transportation and other coordinated details.
Some professional services may also be requested independently, even if you do not book a complete decorative setup.
Hotels, permissions and location fees
Hotel rules and local requirements are reviewed before confirming the plan.
Can the proposal take place at my hotel?
It depends on the hotel. Some properties allow outside vendors or events only with prior authorization, while others require a location fee, internal vendor or specific conditions. If you strongly prefer the hotel, we can contact or coordinate with the appropriate team and include any approved fee in the proposal.
When a hotel is restrictive or costly, a nearby beach is often the simplest and most flexible option.
Do you coordinate permits and local requirements?
When the selected location or service requires permissions, safety review or vendor coordination, we identify those requirements during planning. This is especially important for hotels, private venues, fireworks, cold sparklers and certain public locations.
Planning, communication and weather
We guide the timeline so you can focus on the reason you are there.
What information do you need to begin?
Your tentative date, hotel or accommodation, preferred setup, names, approximate budget and any services you are considering are enough to begin. We then ask focused questions and prepare options around your vision.
What happens if the weather changes?
Outdoor events depend on wind, rain, tide and local conditions. We monitor the situation as the date approaches and communicate any practical adjustment. Available alternatives depend on the location, vendors, timing and severity of the conditions.
Photo and video delivery
Delivery time depends on the service and the editing required.
When will I receive my photos or video?
Delivery depends on the media service you selected. Some edited photo collections may be ready in approximately three days, while more extensive photography, video, drone footage or detailed editing can take up to two weeks.
We confirm the expected delivery range for your package and provide the appropriate private link or gallery instructions when the material is ready.
